Job Description
Senate Sergeant at Arms Landover, Maryland The Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Logistics and Operations Specialist to join our Printing Graphics and Direct Mail (PGDM) team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional warehouse support, monitoring and tracking incoming requests, and maintaining accurate asset inventory using an asset management application. Your contributions will be crucial in managing all aspects of logistical processes; this includes effective communication, proficient utilization of warehouse equipment, and providing reliable Senate Fleet Vehicle transportation support for Senate materials, all aimed at delivering the highest quality of service and warehouse support to the Senate community. As a Logistics and Operations Specialist, you will also be tasked with a wide range of logistics and operations duties, primarily focused on managing and delivering various materials. This may include the delivery of office IT equipment, office furniture, consumable supplies, historical documents, and artifacts for Senate offices. Your responsibilities will extend to conducting inventories, staging, organizing, receiving, decommissioning, recycling, and disposing of items throughout the Senate complex. Furthermore, you will be responsible for daily tracking of warehouse and delivery activities/statistics for user requests.
