Job Description

BLH Technologies, Inc., an award-winning company specializing in public health, communications, technology, research, and management solutions for federal and commercial clients, seeks an experienced and highly qualified Meeting, Logistics, and Event Planner to lead all aspects of planning and management of events and meetings (in-person and virtual).
Duties:
Lead planning of meetings and events, including project management tracking. Plan and implement meetings and events in collaboration with program personnel to ensure meetings and events meet clients' strategic objectives. For virtual meetings, work in collaboration with the BLH IT team to identify appropriate platform, ensure all necessary functionality is in place (e.g., breakout rooms, recording; etc.) and provide needed support and troubleshooting during the virtual meeting. Collaborate with the BLH Communications Team on the development of all registration and meeting materials. Collaborate with the BLH IT and website development teams to develop any needed digital products (e.g., online registration platform, event mobile app). Manage all logistical aspects of meeting planning and management, including identifying potential sites; negotiating hotel rates, meeting space and room block contracts; managing all on-site meeting preparation, including signage; and supervising on-site support staff. Ensure all meeting planning (on-site and virtual) includes contingency plans and procedures for real-time troubleshooting. Ensure logistics for speakers and VIPs, including honorarium and travel reimbursement. Support program personnel in developing after-action reporting and client debriefing.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience planning and managing meetings and events-including virtual events and in-person meetings of up to 2,000 people. Experience planning and managing meetings and events for government clients, including knowledge of relevant sections of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), is preferred. Budget responsibility ($500K+) Experience with ACF, NIH, FDA, HHS, CMS, or other federal agencies. Direct federal contract experience Ability to travel to meetings Certified Government Meeting Professional or Certified Meeting Professional preferred.
