In this position... Material Control and Supplier Manufacturing Readiness ensures suppliers are fully prepared to meet the BlueOval Battery Michigan Pack plant's material demands by coordinating end-to-end material planning and logistics from supply base to production. This includes managing inventory accuracy, monitoring material flow, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining compliance with safety, transportation, and quality standards. The role collaborates closely with suppliers, production, and warehouse teams to resolve shortages, optimize inventory, support production forecasting, and drive continuous improvement in material handling and logistics processes, while providing clear status reporting and enabling effective cross functional communication.
