I THE POSITION
The Operations Technician I position is an entry level position for generic lab responsibilities. Operations technicians play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of a facility or organization. They are responsible for a wide array of duties, from general building maintenance to shipping and receiving. This individual will need a CDL and understand shipping and receiving procedures. They will be instructed on their daily activities.

Fork truck driving Possess listening/Learning skills Good Communication skills for your development and company enhancement Loading, unloading and tracking of shipments Promotes an associate relations environment that is consistent with long term management objectives Possesses Mechanical Background Performs other duties as necessary 4S support
EDUCATION
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE
Forktruck Basic knowledge of electricity and measuring equipment Prior construction experience is helpful. Basic working knowledge with computers PLEX experience is helpful Organizational skills 2 years' experience in automtoive and/or manufacturing industry is preferred. Core Competencies Safe and certified fork truck operation. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including loading, unloading, and shipment tracking. Basic mechanical aptitude with foundational understanding of electricity and measuring equipment. Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate strong listening and learning skills. Basic computer proficiency (PLEX experience preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to promote a positive team environment. Other Requirements Office environment with noise from computer peripherals such as mainframe, disk drives and printers Requires frequent head, neck movement and frequent arm and above the shoulder work. Lift, carry or move objects up to 50 lbs Factory environment with noise from manufacturing equipment.
