This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in production management, supply chain analytics, and process improvement to optimize manufacturing operations. As a key player in our organization, you will champion continuous improvement initiatives and utilize advanced manufacturing management systems to enhance efficiency and product quality. We need Associate level, Intermediate and Senior level Product Planner professionals. You must be a current resident of the Twin Cities Metro area and authorized to work permanently in the US. Duties Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and inventory levels. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and engineering teams to streamline processes and improve overall plant performance. Analyze production data through Excel and supply chain analytics tools to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and elevate quality standards. Manage production planning activities by coordinating material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet delivery targets. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations management, supply chain efficiency, and plant productivity to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead or support projects focused on process optimization, lean management practices, and manufacturing system upgrades to foster a culture of excellence. Experience Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or similar discipline We have Associate (1+ years Supply Chain experience), Intermediate (2+ years experience) and Senior level (5+ years of experience) opportunities APICS certification preferred. If degree is not in Supply Chain or Logistics it would be required Experience planning product with multi-level BOM's Proven experience in production management or manufacturing management within a fast-paced industrial environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning platforms. Demonstrated expertise in MRP systems, supply chain management, and supply chain analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process modeling. Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma certification preferred, with a track record of successful process improvements. Experience leading cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across departments. Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes is advantageous for understanding production workflows and quality control standards.
