Summary Responsible for end to end supply planning for portfolio of pharmaceutical products (finished goods, API and components when appropriate) across a network of contract manufacturing organizations. Owns the development of robust supply pans, proactively manages supply risks and serves as a key interface between internal stakeholders and external partners. Ensure high service levels, optimized inventory and reliable supply continuity. Essential Duties Own supply planning for a defined portfolio - develop constrained and unconstrained supply plans over 3-24 month horizon
Ensure alignment between demand, supply and capacity across Contract manufacturing organizations
Lead scenario planning
Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans; Completes necessary risk analysis research in support of business' critical projects, identifying potential solutions for mitigating risk; Escalate and resolve supply issues with external partners
Manages relationships with critical suppliers to the business.
Manages contract manufacturer relationships for assigned projects.
Responsible for planning CMO's and regular supplier meetings with scorecard review; Maintain cost control, delivery schedules and inventory levels based on desired goals and objectives; Drive performance against KPI's ie OTIF, Schedule Adherence, Lead Time reliability
Manage inventory strategies across network by setting appropriate safety stock levels and inventory targets
Proactively identify excess, slow moving and obsolete inventory
Assist in development of supply chain analytics; Analyze and improve key planning metrics and processes
Identifies and implements opportunities and/or processes to support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
