Who We're Looking For:
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, t he Category Specialist drives competitive advantage through effective category management leveraging data-driven insights, strategic sourcing, and strong supplier partnerships to deliver cost savings, ensure supply continuity, and enable operational excellence across the organization. About the
Role:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive category sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Drive supplier selection and qualification processes through RFI/RFQ activities, ensuring alignment with technical, quality, and commercial requirements. Lead contract negotiations and establish OEM Supply Agreements and/or Distribution Agreements with suppliers. Manage and execute supply chain initiatives focused on cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field with 5+ years previous experience in category management Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Understanding of medical devices and industry regulations. Willingness to flex work hours as necessary to engage with global teams and supply partners.
