Job Description
LMC Industries, Inc is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our innovative team! The supply chain coordinator is responsible for scheduling and monitoring material from procurement to the customer needs. They will work with production, engineering, and team members to achieve KPI and customer service level. Essential Functions Analyze and manage inventory levels to achieve KPI and customer service levels Manage reorder points for EOQ and inventory levels Manage program run outs to achieve minimal inventory obsolescence Procure material timely for production schedules from approved vendors Assist in supplier negotiation on new and changes in purchase order Analyze forecast accuracy to identify opportunities to improve service level and KPI's Correct errors in the ERP system ensuring inventory accuracy. Develop & execute planning activities to maximize plant efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Coordinate cycle counts with cycle counters to ensure cycle count program schedule is meet. Work with other departments on improving inventory accuracy. Qualifications 3 year minimum experience in supply chain planning Bachelors degree in Supply Chain OR related field -preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills - demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and present to all levels of an organization Must be an innovator and embrace lean principles with a "can do attitude" Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and vendors. Excellent Excel Skills.
