Support production optimization through process analysis, labor planning, resource utilization, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to manufacturing excellence by developing solutions that improve efficiency, cost, schedule performance, and operational effectiveness. Requirements Job Details

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess 6 or more years of related work experience
  • Complete required OJT or formal classroom training as a condition of assignment
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
  • Apply standards to new work instructions
  • Update precedence networks supporting tooling and production schedule decisions
  • Create and maintain engineering performance metrics
  • Integrate modular tooling
  • Analyze current and future business environments and develop forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources
  • Develop and maintain complex Business System factory definitions for manufacturing planning
  • Generate labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages utilizing labor standards and design reviews
  • Monitor operational performance metrics
  • Participate in the development of integrated production and tooling master schedules
  • Identify and implement process improvements utilizing established improvement methodologies
  • Analyze changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events
  • Assess impacts of changes on cost, schedule, resources, and delivery commitments
  • Develop modifications to existing plans and obtain approval for plan changes
  • Participate in negotiations supporting schedule commitments and statement of work impacts
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and update integrated shop operating plans to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency
