Job Locations US-MS-Pascagoula Clearance Required Secret Category Administrative Assistant I Overview We are looking for an industrial warehouse/office assistant to fill a full-time position undertaking a variety of tasks relating to delivering and pickup of materials, shipping, receiving, handling, and maintaining calibration services and hazmat logs, tool issue maintenance and storage log in Pasacagoula, MS We support several different ship classes and types at various Navy installations around the United States coastal areas. This position will involve all aspect of material and tooling needed for our installation teams. Due to the high number of materials and tooling needed for our install teams, applicants must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions and
ISO 9001.
The ideal candidate must be willing to learn different kinds of tools, materials, and test equipment. Responsibilities Responsible for logging and upkeep of all tooling needing calibration services, Hazmat logs, tool issue, tool maintenance and storage logs for all tooling and material.
Work with R&P employees for proper tool/ material issue and return.
Create and maintain inventory log.
Handle all shipping and receiving, inventory all items
Material preparation for all team member and tasks.
Ability to research material needed for tasking. Qualifications Excellent driving record, make deliveries and pick of materials (to naval base, shipyards, and customers)
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Flexibility with regards to scheduling and planned support due to constant Navy movement.
Must be able to work a schedule Monday - Friday 40hrs plus flexible to work weekends as needed.
Must be
PUNCTUAL AND RELIABLE.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift 50 pounds on your own.
Ability to obtain and maintain Navy DBIDS security credentials.
The ability to qualify and maintain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
