Job Description
Adminisrative/Coordinate Liaison for employees, vendors, and visitors who come to the department to ensure proper check-in protocols Responds to employee, vendor, and visitor requests verbally and/or via telephone or email Receives, processes, and coordinates incoming telephone calls and emails. Contributes to specialty projects as directed by supervisor. Maintains a high degree of communication, cooperation, and coordination with assigned departments regarding purchases. Performs routine duties as assigned and record-keeping, including keying PO's into our ERP - Materials Management System for multiple NMHS affiliates as centralized purchasing. Performs PO expediting for centralized purchasing from all 7 hospitals, 30+ clinics, and other NMHS affiliates. Performs all EDI electronic order processing while validating receipt, review, and coordinates corrections on all EDI order confirmations. Works closely with Accounts Payable staff to coordinate and resolve any invoice discrepancies from all NMHS affiliates and facilities. Assist in expediting weekly WMS-warehouse management system- Inventory backorder report for urgent supplies. Assists in standardization of supplies and equipment and consolidation of vendor base to reduce acquisition costs. Performs additional tasks as assigned Cross trains as back up to other office positions Mentors to other Buyers by example and assistance with on-the-job training

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Business; required, or equivalent experience Working knowledge of computers and software programs including Microsoft Office applications; required Working knowledge of standard office equipment; required Excellent written and verbal communication skills; required Excellent organizational skills; required Minimum of 2 years of clerical/office experience; required. 5 years experience in the Supply Chain field; required.
