For more information, visit our website at www.kearfott.com Position Description Kearfott Motion Systems Division (MSD) is a vertically integrated manufacturing facility. The Planner II is a critical position responsible for developing and managing detailed production schedules from raw bar stock through complex assembly and test that meet our increasing customer demand. The Planner II role is responsible for ensuring that all shop floor material availability aligns to the master schedule. Shop orders are issued and tracked for on time execution and any roadblocks are resolved and/or escalated for urgent resolution. Essential Functions Analyze and report availability of material to Manufacturing supervisors and management Maintain schedule and status of deliverables, actions and issues. Analyze and respond to all MRP and manually generated material and shop order requisitions. Liaison with Program Management, Operations and Engineering to resolve issues affecting the build and test cycle. Proactively participate in continuous improvement activities affecting the planning, procurement, build and test process. Any additional work as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or associate degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 2 - 5 years of experience in production planning required, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production planning principles, including master production scheduling, material requirements planning, and capacity planning. Self-starter with ability to get tasks accomplished on time. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, IFS, JDE), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM certifications a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located 100% onsite at our Black Mountain NC facility. Relocation assistance is not available.
