Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Material Planner, where you will be at the heart of ensuring seamless production flow and optimal inventory management. Your proactive approach will drive efficiency, reduce waste, and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing processes. Position Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining MRP systems and material procurement plans to ensure the availability of all components and raw materials required for manufacturing operations. Provides accurate demand analysis, manages inventory levels, and coordinates with procurement to support production requirements while maintaining optimal inventory and cost efficiency.
Essential Functions:
  • Analyzes demand from sales orders and forecasts to determine material requirements and procurement timing.
  • Ensures the timely availability of all components and raw materials required for production of finished goods.
  • Manages procurement and inventory of raw materials and components for manufacturing.
  • Determines desired inventory levels, including safety stock levels, for raw materials and components down to the bulk batch size.
  • Releases and monitors purchase orders for production materials, floor stock items, and standard trade goods to support the business unit.
  • Collaborates with operations and production teams to align material availability with production needs.
Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manipulate large sets of data.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SOP, purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred.
Work Environment:
Office Environment and Production environment.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
