Logistics Specialist

Job Title:

Logistics Specialist Job Description Duties and responsibilities include:

• Pull and kit parts for operational sites.
• Perform inventory management processes/audits (Cycle Counts, Container Audits, Damage/LDD's etc.)
• Government property returning from operational sites are inventoried and prepared items for storage. (Labeling, securing, palletizing, covering, etc.)
• Determine methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight and/or height limits, and required space.
• Position requires working primarily outside, year-round, exposed to seasonal weather changes.
• Other duties as necessary.

The Logistics Specialist:

• Should be self-motivated and possess an positive attitude, good work ethic, and the ability to communicate well with others.
• Should be detail-oriented and possess a strong understanding of commitment to overall mission
• Should possess the ability to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 1 year of storeroom/warehouse experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain on feet daily for 6-9 hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience completing inventory.
• Completion of some college course work.
• Receiving, shipping and stocking.
• Forklift experience, with a clean safety record.
• Experience with Microsoft products.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.51/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
