Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality & Logistics Associate with strong computer skills to support our aviation operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the flow of materials, parts, and equipment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to meet operational needs. This position requires proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track shipments of aviation parts, tools, and materials to and from vendors, repair stations, and internal departments. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Process shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and certificates of conformance. Schedule and monitor inbound and outbound freight, optimizing delivery timelines and costs. Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve delays or discrepancies. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on inventory status, shipment tracking, and logistics KPIs. Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and company quality standards related to material handling. Assist with cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory as needed. Use digital tools to analyze logistics performance and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in the aviation or aerospace sector. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Experience with ERP, WMS, or MRO systems (e.g., SAP, Quantum, AMOS, or similar). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Knowledge of import/export documentation and FAA compliance standards is a plus. Forklift certification or experience handling aviation-grade materials is a plus.
