LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE
High Point, NC office is looking for an experienced logistics associate. Full Time - Day Shift.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person with experience in international trade and logistics operations. The candidate will assist with import documentation, shipment tracking, and vendor communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Review import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork. Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies and procedures. Monitor and track international shipments from supplier to final destination. Provide support to the logistics team.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Previous experience in international trade and logistics required. The candidate is expected to have reliable transportation and arranged day care, if applicable. Applicant must have excellent computer skills and be a multitasker. Should also be comfortable speaking with customers and sales reps via telephone. We are the North America office handling the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and the Caribbean. The position is for full-time employment. Benefits including paid vacation/sick leave, health, dental and eye insurance after 90 probationary period.
