No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesLogistics Coordinator (Shipping & Documentation Specialist) A Logistics Coordinator manages the end-to-end lifecycle of freight movement. This role requires a high degree of organizational precision, as you act as the bridge between carriers, warehouses, and customers. The primary focus for this specific profile is documentation integrity, with a heavy emphasis on the creation, auditing, and management of Bills of Lading (BOL).

Core Responsibilities Documentation Management:

Generate and process accurate Bills of Lading (BOL), Packing Slips, and Commercial Invoices. Ensure all BOLs contain correct freight classifications, weights, and hazardous material declarations.

Shipment Scheduling:

Coordinate daily pick-ups and deliveries with ocean, air, and ground carriers.

Carrier Compliance:

Audit freight bills against quoted rates and verify that the "Proof of Delivery" (POD) matches the original BOL terms.

Inventory Oversight:

Reconcile physical inventory with shipping documents to ensure zero discrepancies between the warehouse and the digital record.

Troubleshooting:

Resolve "Overs, Shorts, and Damages" (OS&D) by investigating the paper trail starting from the initial BOL.

Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, providing clear loading instructions and dock assignments.
