Job Description

Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join their client's dynamic team in Somerset, NJ. This role involves managing various aspects of logistics and supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations. The position is a temporary role for six months, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide a central point of contact for analysis in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, and delivery processes. Prepare reports on supply chain KPIs. Prepare paperwork and pallet/box related to reverse logistics. Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity. Monitor, report, and return overstock inventory, and run excess and obsolescence processes. Collaborate with planning and marketing partners on product phaseout processes. Monitor and reconcile shipment receipts with Distribution Centers in Europe and the Americas. Submit Distribution Quality Complaints in the QC system. Provide backup support for the purchasing group when needed. Qualifications Able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment. Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Detail-oriented and able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. Required Work Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Benefits This position offers competitive hourly pay of $20.00. Additional Details This role is 100% onsite in Somerset, NJ, and offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in logistics and supply chain management.
