Full Job Description Description:
ENTEK is seeking applications for a Planner•Manufacturing role to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada, location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required). As a Manufacturing Planner at ENTEK, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production of ENTEK's products. This role will schedule production to meet order demands, customer requirements, and predetermined inventory targets. You will evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production and watch costs to ensure the production process stays within budget. You will also be responsible for reporting on production status and production issues, as well as finding ways to improve productivity, reduce costs, and monitor inventory timeline goals. You must be able to work from blueprints and have a thorough technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. The Planner's ability to perform self-directed work and to participate in a culture of continuous improvement is critical to the company's success. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules on all required processes, internal or external, for two plant sites. Monitor production schedules for production cells, work with supervisors to maintain adequate workload, ensuring effective communications. Work with purchasing to maintain adequate timing of required components and materials to satisfy production schedule. Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers. Follow Lean manufacturing utilizing tools such as Kaizens, 5S, RIE's and other work area standards. Represent ENTEK with the highest standard of professional conduct when interacting with suppliers and customers.Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent 5 years' experience in Production Planning and Scheduling for equipment manufacturing. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret mechanical drawings. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, employees, and vendors in person and via phone or email correspondence. Ability to write routine reports and prepare Excel spreadsheets with formulas. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen. Working Environment The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. This role is in an office setting and frequently requires sitting, working at a computer, hearing, reaching, and completing tasks that require use of hands and fingers for extended periods of time. The incumbent will occasionally be required to stand, walk, and may occasionally need to kneel, crouch, and climb stairs. If this role requires visiting the plant and/or shop floors, wearing eye and hearing protection will be required. The role requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
