Job Description
Shipping & Receiving Operator III Comstock Metals LLC is pioneering the recycling of end-of-life electrification products, including solar panels, to prevent landfill waste while recovering valuable metals for reuse. You will serve as the Shipping & Receiving Operator III , is a senior-level logistics professional responsible for coordinating and executing advanced shipping, receiving, inventory control and material transportation activities. This role requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and the ability to meet all CDL requirements established by the State of Nevada.

As an ideal candidate, we expect you to have: High school diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, mining, recycling, or other industrial operations. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the ability to maintain CDL eligibility, an acceptable driving record, and compliance with all State of Nevada, DOT, FMCSA, and company transportation requirements. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (or ability to obtain and maintain certification) and the ability to successfully participate in all required
DOT/FMCSA
drug and alcohol testing programs. Forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating material-handling equipment, along with strong knowledge of shipping documentation, inventory control, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently; experience with ERP systems, transportation logistics, DOT compliance, and industrial, manufacturing, mining, or metals recycling operations is preferred. Your specific responsibilities as a Shipping & Receiving Operator III will include: Manage daily shipping, receiving, logistics, and material-handling operations, ensuring accurate documentation, timely movement of materials, and effective coordination with vendors, customers, carriers, and internal departments. Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies while maintaining compliance with DOT, FMCSA, company policies, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, inventory audits, material reconciliation, and ERP system transactions to support inventory accuracy and traceability. Monitor and resolve shipping discrepancies, transportation issues, inventory variances, and operational concerns while supporting efficient logistics planning and execution. Promote a safe and compliant work environment by conducting routine inspections, maintaining transportation and vehicle records, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
