Cost ControlsSpecialistwith relevant construction experience to support the buildout of Tesla's facilities and infrastructure. This position willbe responsibleforcost management, cost analysis,analyzing financial and cost engineering data,costreportingand benchmarking throughout the various project stages. In addition, this role will support the change management and risk management process for design and construction,and analysis targeting cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.

Yourexpertisewill contribute to the overall profitability and competitiveness of ourcapital projects teamand organization. What You'll Do
Cost Control Management:
Support the development and implementation of cost managementprogramfor construction projects, including approved budget, total commitments, costtracking (incurred and invoiced costs). Work closely withprojectteam to forecast project costs during project execution
Change Management/Cost Forecasting:
Support the Change Management process to ensureaccuratecost projection for each project.

Utilize cost data and trends to predict potential cost overruns or savings and provide recommendations for mitigation. Collaborate with project managers to ensure that cost controls are in place and budgets are adhered to.
Cost Communication:
Manage program teams to produce dashboards to communicate cost performance across teams
Cost Analysis &Tracking:
Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost performance toidentifypotential risk areas andvalidateforecast
Reporting:
Maintaincost tools and reports to communicate project cost metrics and performance with the project team and seniormanagement
Benchmarking:
Trackand analyzehistoricalproject datato developcurrent cost trends andbenchmarking data for estimatingcurrent and future projects Stay current with industry best practices and emerging cost management technologies to drive ongoing process improvement.
