Job Description

Logistics Coordinator We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator for one of our clients in Brunswick, OH. This role supports a wide range of inbound and outbound logistics functions and is essential to daily operations across all business units. The ideal candidate will have strong experience coordinating shipments, managing carrier communication, and providing customer service related to logistics.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay:
$18.50+ an hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments (manage dock schedule) Coordinate and schedule inbound services related to client purchasing activities Coordinate and schedule LTL freight shipments for all orders Gather shipment requirements (delivery dates, special instructions, etc.) Prepare freight quotes and obtain approval for carriers Support parcel and freight quoting processes Use carrier software to quote and schedule shipments Communicate with carriers regarding service levels Handle all carrier damage and shipping claims Respond to and resolve shipping exceptions
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in a production environment supporting inbound/outbound logistics Experience working with parcel and LTL carriers Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong understanding of systems and processes Ability to solve intermediate problems Strong safety awareness Ability to lift 50 lbs
