Logistics Coordinator

Logistics Broker (Freight Broker) We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Logistics Broker to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key liasion between shippers and carriers, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong negotiations skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and transportation carriers Source and secure freight opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, current or past clients Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and clients Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of shipments from pickup to delivery Track shipments and proactively resole any issues or delays Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, freight brokerage, sales, or customer service preferred Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset Preferred Skills Experience using load boards (e.g.,DAT, Truckstop) Knowledge of freight market trends and pricing Established book of business (a plus not required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission structure Performance-based bonuses Opportunities for career growth and advancement Flexible or remote work options

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
