Based on Experience Position Summary The Supply Chain Administrator supports daily supply chain and logistics operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role focuses on administrative coordination, data accuracy, supplier communication, and ensuring materials flow efficiently to meet production and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and update purchase orders, schedules, and supplier data in ERP/MRP systems. Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery issues, shortages, and discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Monitor material shortages and escalate issues to planners or buyers. Support production planning with order status updates and reporting. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain reports. Assist with freight coordination, documentation, and billing discrepancies. Maintain records for supplier performance, delivery metrics, and corrective actions. Provide general administrative support to the Supply Chain team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred. 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or administrative support (manufacturing or automotive preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, QAD, Oracle, or similar. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills Experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. Familiarity with inventory management and material planning concepts. Ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, and Logistics teams.
