Job Description

Position The Inventory Planner position will be responsible for monitoring ordering processes with external vendors. Key duties include monitoring inventory levels, analyzing production performance, and collaborating with procurement and sales teams to prevent delays. Responsibilities Develop detailed, daily/weekly/monthly production schedules to meet customer orders and sales forecasts. Monitor inventory levels of finished goods at external vendors Utilize MRP systems to order materials and manage inventory, ensuring data accuracy. Track production progress, analyze performance metrics, and prepare reports for management. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues from external vendors Recommend solutions to enhance production quality, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
MRP master data:
create and maintain the MRP master data in the system according to predefined set ups in collaboration with responsible external vendors
Purchase Order:
creation, monitoring, maintaining changes, confirmations and discrepancies Monitor exception reports of current purchase orders: daily tracking of current purchase orders in the system, remediate exception reports in collaboration with the supplier, escalation and information of missing parts and major deviations to the responsible party Expediting of deliveries: daily monitoring, processing and clarification of over-/due deliveries, escalation and information of missing parts and major deviations to the responsible procurement function Maintain accurate min/max, optimal order quantities Determine critical sunset items for product transition coordinate and track their usage Qualifications Previous Experience is required in an Inventory Planner/Scheduler position.
