Logistics Coordinator / Material Control Specialist 📍 New Albany, OH 💲 $25-$28/hr 🕒 Contract-to-Hire 🏢 Data Center Construction Environment We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator / Material Control Specialist to support a large-scale data center construction project in New Albany, OH. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, maintaining material laydown areas, and ensuring construction teams have the materials and equipment needed to stay productive. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in construction logistics, material control, inventory management, field engineering support, warehouse operations, or project coordination. Responsibilities Coordinate incoming deliveries and material distribution across the job site Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate material tracking records Organize and oversee laydown yards, storage areas, and staging locations Track material movement and reconcile inventory discrepancies Support 30-, 60-, and 90-day material planning and forecasting efforts Work closely with project managers, field engineers, superintendents, and contractors to ensure material availability Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts Monitor material shortages and escalate potential project impacts Maintain documentation for deliveries, transfers, and inventory transactions Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce delays Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in logistics, material control, inventory management, supply chain, warehouse operations, or construction coordination Experience supporting construction, telecom, industrial, manufacturing, or data center projects Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience managing multiple deliveries, vendors, and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment Preferred Qualifications Data center construction experience Field Engineer or Field Coordinator experience Telecom or low-voltage industry experience Experience managing material laydown yards and staging areas Familiarity with construction schedules and project documentation Top Skills Material Control Inventory Management Construction Logistics Supply Chain Coordination Material Forecasting 30-60-90 Day Planning Vendor Coordination Warehouse Operations Microsoft Excel Data Center Construction Why Join?
