Job Description
🚧 Logistics Technician - Data Center 🚧 📍 New Albany, OH | 1st Shift | Contract-to-Hire Are you experienced supporting logistics, inventory, and material operations on a data center construction site ? We're seeking Logistics Technicians to support a large-scale data center project in New Albany, OH. This role is focused on managing materials within the laydown yard, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments, and ensuring field teams have the materials needed to keep construction moving. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with data center construction experience who want to expand their skills and receive additional training, including the opportunity to obtain a DOT Certification . Responsibilities ✅ Support day-to-day operations within the data center laydown yard ✅ Receive, inspect, and organize incoming material deliveries ✅ Process outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documentation ✅ Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records ✅ Load, unload, stage, and transport materials safely ✅ Track material availability and support field material requests ✅ Maintain Excel spreadsheets and inventory documentation ✅ Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures ✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and secure material storage area Required Qualifications Experience supporting data center construction projects Experience working in a laydown yard, warehouse, or material staging environment Shipping and receiving experience Inventory management and cycle count experience Material handling experience Experience using Excel and maintaining documentation Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced construction environment Preferred Qualifications Forklift or pallet jack experience Telecom, low-voltage, or structured cabling project experience Material procurement support experience Previous logistics or warehouse coordination experience Ideal Backgrounds Data Center Logistics Technician Data Center Material Coordinator Laydown Yard Technician Data Center Warehouse Associate Inventory Specialist Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Material Handler Construction Logistics Technician Why Join? 🔹 Work on a high-profile data center project 🔹 Gain valuable experience with a leading telecommunications contractor 🔹 Opportunity to obtain DOT Certification 🔹 Long-term contract-to-hire opportunity 🔹 Build a career supporting critical infrastructure projects Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
