Job Description
Join Our Team Alcon Mechanical Piping, Inc. seeks a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics & Inventory Associate to support our warehouse operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, receiving materials, organizing warehouse stock, and ensuring materials are readily available to support our field and shop operations. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Organize inventory in designated warehouse locations Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Label and identify materials accurately Receiving & Warehouse Operations Receive and unload incoming shipments Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders Inspect deliveries for damage or shortages Put away inventory in proper storage locations Enter receiving information into inventory software Order Fulfillment Pick and stage materials for field crews and shop personnel Prepare materials for shipment or delivery Verify order accuracy before distribution Package materials securely for transport Material Handling Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment (certification preferred) Transport materials throughout the warehouse and job sites as needed Maintain organized storage areas for efficient material retrieval Warehouse Organization Keep warehouse aisles, racks, and storage areas clean and organized Maintain inventory location systems Follow 5S workplace organization standards Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently Logistics Support Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses and job sites Track incoming and outgoing shipments Work closely with purchasing, project managers, and field personnel Assist with shipping and receiving activities Safety Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies Report damaged materials or unsafe conditions Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software is a plus Forklift certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain certification) Ability to lift to 50 pounds Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Why Join Alcon Mechanical?
