Description Returns Processing & Management Receive, inspect, and process returned parts according to company guidelines and warranty policies.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and conditions against return authorization requests and packing slips.
Accurately log returned items into inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP tools).
Tag, label, and route returned parts to the appropriate department for inspection, testing, or disposal. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain all required documentation, including return authorizations, credit memos, and claim forms.
Ensure proper filing and organization of all warranty-related records for auditing purposes.
Generate reports on return volumes, processing times, and claim statuses for management review. Quality Assurance & Compliance Collaborate with warranty, quality, and engineering teams to ensure defective parts are documented and evaluated.
Follow company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory standards regarding the handling of hazardous or restricted components.
