Job Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized Outbound Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation, order scheduling, and communication across multiple retail channels, including QVC, HSN, Amazon, and other B2B accounts. This role ensures timely, cost-effective shipments by coordinating with internal teams, managing Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and overseeing execution on the warehouse floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Route and schedule parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments through customer portals and TMS platforms. Manage outbound orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS); monitor ship windows and adjust plans as needed. Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Assembly, Dock, and Client Services) to ensure readiness and flag issues impacting fulfillment. Communicate daily load plans and shipping priorities to Dock & Load teams; ensure correct staging and trailer loading. Apply proper freight rates, and follow retailer-specific requirements to prevent chargebacks and maintain scorecard performance (OTD, OTIF). Order or generate
SSCC/UCC-128
labels in line with customer specifications and production timelines. Capture accurate freight charges for each shipment. Provide cross-training support and serve as backup during peak periods or PTO coverage.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in outbound logistics, shipment coordination, or transportation planning. Proficient with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or similar TMS platforms. Familiarity with routing systems such as Amazon CARP, Walmart CPFR, and QVC/HSN portals. Background in production planning, shipping documentation, and label compliance (SSCC/UCC-128).
