Logistics Associate - Part Time $22.44

Job Summary A Logistics Assistant supports the coordination and management of supply chain operations, ensuring that goods are transported, stored, and delivered efficiently. This role involves administrative tasks, tracking shipments, and communicating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. This individual should be customer focused with a strong commitment to meet customer needs. This position is responsible for communicating with shippers and freight carriers to ensure the safe and timely movement of freight from its original point to its destination. Responsibilities Assist in planning and coordinating shipments and deliveries Track, trace and monitor incoming and outgoing goods Build customer base to cover loads when needed or bring in new business to increase revenue. Manage customer interactions by proactively communicating with customers, setting appointments, notifying them of deliveries, etc.

Customer service:

answering inbound calls from customers, vendors and carriers . Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment status Help resolve delivery or transportation issues Support warehouse operations when needed Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred) Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience required. Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain roles Maintain a solid understanding of current market conditions and business trends to effectively negotiate rates. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Good communication and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

Part-time (20 - 30 hours per week) Office and/or warehouse setting Hybrid - remote Education High School Diploma Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain roles

$22.44 per hour
