Duties Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, inventory management, and demand planning to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Manage warehouse operations such as stocking, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution to maximize efficiency. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or AS400 to coordinate logistics activities and optimize freight routes. Conduct root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks or issues in supply chain processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Negotiate contracts with vendors, 3PL providers (third-party logistics), and freight carriers to secure favorable pricing and service levels. Lead category management efforts by sourcing suppliers, evaluating bids, and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Analyze logistics data using tools like Tableau or SQL for insights into transportation planning, inventory control, and overall supply chain performance. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar analytics tools for reporting and process improvement insights. Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, contracts negotiation, and sourcing strategies. Mechanical knowledge or experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle; experience with AS400 is a plus. Ability to coordinate transportation planning including freight forwarding (NVOCC), shipping & receiving operations, and demand forecasting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, order fulfillment, and supply chain analytics. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including production planning, procurement, and vendor management. Pay:
