Our Supply Chain and Materials Planning teams are ensuring efficient coordination of materials, production schedules, and supplier performance to support timely product delivery and operational excellence. Partnering with the best As a Materials Planner, you are coordinating and expediting the flow of materials from suppliers and across internal departments to support production schedules and customer demand. You are planning, scheduling, and monitoring material and production requirements while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure smooth supply chain operations. As a Materials Planner, you are responsible of: Managing and prioritizing a portfolio of customer orders while developing and maintaining production schedules aligned to demand. Planning and releasing production orders based on manufacturing capacity and material availability. Monitoring and improving key performance metrics such as inventory levels, overdue orders, and on‑time delivery. Partnering with Sourcing and Procurement teams to expedite materials and resolve shortages proactively. Leading shortage management processes including tracking, reporting, and mitigation actions. Facilitating communication across cross‑functional teams to address issues and drive continuous improvement. Executing standardized planning and manufacturing processes in line with company guidelines and best practices. Collaborating with Master Scheduling and Production Control teams to ensure efficient production execution. Serving as a key point of contact for customers or channel partners to support order fulfillment and aftermarket requirements. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning, Procurement and Logistics or High school diploma or GED. Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple high-value orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams. Desired Characteristics Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Leadership ability with experience influencing stakeholders and leading small initiatives or projects. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making. Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives with moderate scope and impact. Technical Requirements Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc) for production planning, order management, or inventory control. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with demand planning and supply planning tools. Understanding inventory management concepts. Familiarity with production planning and scheduling methodologies. Knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing workflows. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles (Six Sigma preferred). Attention to detail, and system discipline.
