This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability, production readiness, and on-time delivery performance. The Planner II operates with a high degree of independence, balancing short-term execution with longer-term planning requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating supply and production risks. This position is part of the Environmental - Production Planning team located in Fort Collins, Colorado, United States and is an on-site role. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules to support customer demand and business objectives Analyse demand, inventory levels, capacity constraints, and material availability to optimise production plans Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to address shortages, expedite critical materials, and minimise disruptions Monitor key planning metrics, including on-time delivery, inventory levels, backlog, and production attainment Collaborate with Manufacturing leadership to balance workload and production capacity across work centres Participate in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and demand review processes Identify planning risks and implement corrective actions to ensure continuity of supply and customer satisfaction Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and product lifecycle activities Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data within ERP systems Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and operational performance Prepare reports, dashboards, and planning analyses for management review Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or a related field Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage changing business demands Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications
APICS / ASCM
certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a lean environment Experience participating in SIOP or integrated business planning processes Knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and capacity planning principles Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise systems About Ott and Veralto Ott is part of the Environmental business within the Water Quality segment of Veralto (

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $101,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
