Job Description
Supply Chain Associate Location:
Remote (with occasional on-site visits in Batavia, IL for audits)Salary:

Position Overview The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of domestic and international purchasing, logistics, and production coordination activities. This role is essential to ensuring the timely procurement of materials, efficient movement of inventory, and seamless coordination between suppliers, production, and internal teams. This role is primarily remote, but the Supply Chain Associate must be able to travel to our Batavia, IL office occasionally for audits.Key Responsibilities:
- Create, issue, and manage domestic and international purchase orders while maintaining accurate purchasing documentation.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to monitor order status, expedite shipments, and resolve issues to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain and update order tracking systems, shipment records, and related documentation for accurate visibility into inventory and open orders.
- Responsible for helping resolve inventory discrepancies and ensuring accurate, reliable inventory records.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling shipments and preparing shipping documentation.
- Monitor international ocean shipments from origin through final delivery, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, shipping labels, etc.).
- File and maintain purchasing, shipping, and operational records in accordance with company procedures.
- Create and manage work orders and assemblies for production activities such as pailing and restacking.
- Coordinate production schedules and operational calendar events to support manufacturing and warehouse activities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for shipment-related inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through professional, timely communication.
- Collaborate with Customer Success & Sales Support Leads to identify customer needs, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates or potential issues.
- Perform administrative and operational support duties to maintain efficient supply chain and logistics operations. Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$60,000 annuallyPaid Holidays:

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain coordination
- Computer literacy — this is essential
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise (training provided)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite is a plus
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
