Supply Chain Planner (Hybrid)
Location:
Copiague, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Salary:
$74,000-$80,000 (Flexibility for exceptional candidates)

Full-Time Our client, a well-established manufacturer in a regulated industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join its growing Supply Chain organization. This position plays a critical role in developing and executing production supply plans that align customer demand with manufacturing capacity while supporting a major U.S. manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner who enjoys working cross-functionally, leveraging data to drive decisions, and contributing to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production supply plans to support manufacturing operations. Balance demand forecasts, inventory levels, production capacity, and supplier constraints. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure achievable production schedules. Participate in and facilitate Supply Review, S&OP, operational review, and cross-functional planning meetings. Monitor planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and inventory targets. Analyze production constraints and recommend solutions to improve supply performance. Build reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to communicate planning performance and supply risks. Utilize ERP and supply planning systems to manage planning activities and improve forecasting accuracy. Support continuous improvement initiatives and help optimize planning processes through data analytics and emerging AI tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of supply planning, production planning, or demand planning experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP or planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar. Understanding of production planning concepts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory planning, and capacity planning. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; PowerPoint experience required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Experience participating in S&OP or integrated business planning processes is preferred. Experience within pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications Kinaxis experience Oracle ERP experience Power BI or Tableau
APICS CPIM
