In this position, you will support the district by gathering information, preparing responses, and managing records related to tort liability and Right-to-Know requests. As a Tort Liability Specialist Transportation, you will perform the following duties:Legal Research:
Research formal and informal discovery requests tied to tort litigationInformation Coordination:
Coordinate responses to tort related and Right-To-Know requests across district unitsEvidence Gathering:
Collect statements, reports, and photographic documentation to support case filesFile Management:
Maintain organized case files and potential files with accurate supporting materialsCourt Support:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week after completion of the probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $51,971 (before taxes). Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Five years of investigative legal work in gathering and organizing legal documentation for use in a court of law; or Two years of paralegal experience and a certificate from an accredited paralegal school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
