Full Job Description Position Summary :
Identify daily production order requirements and develop a plan to produce. Contribute to MPP goals including EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), Quality, OTD & overall inventory utilization. Streamline Production Processes by planning production effectively to reduce scrap & overall precious metal requirements. Increase throughput while reducing operation expenses and inventory. Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for learning all aspects of production planning including demand planning, inventory replenishment strategies and optimum stocking points. Responsible providing a daily casting schedule which ensures that we are making the right product at the right time. Utilize knowledge of melt makeup procedures to ensure proper use of existing inventory and contribute to inventory increases. Collaborate daily with production management and production planners to develop production schedules for each functional area. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of the required supplies and consumables for production operations and equipment. Responsible for ensuring all applicable regulations are being followed and assigned work is performed in accordance with ISO standards
Qualifications/Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of melting / casting, bonding, rolling, slitting, wire drawing, annealing & Quality assurance. 5+ years' experience in metals manufacturing environment 2+ years of leadership experience preferred Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) ERP systems user Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization with a measured sense of understanding for sensitive and confidential issues Ability to anticipate, recognize and analyze potential workplace risks and effectively create resolutions Highly organized, self-structured, accurate Pro-active, self-driven. Ability to prioritize and work independently for his/herself and others in the work group with minimal supervision Practical approach, straightforward and communicative Emotionally balanced, able to bear stress and multiple demands Safety and Quality mind-set to achieve results Ability to lift 50 plus pounds Production control mindset, with a strong focus towards on-time delivery.
