Job Description
Job Summary The Technology Risk Assessor is responsible for managing and assessing a portfolio of technology vendors, with a focus on vendor risk, performance, and overall value delivery. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support vendor strategy, ensure contract compliance, and drive risk mitigation efforts. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to oversee complex vendor relationships and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage and provide oversight for a portfolio of medium-to-high complexity technology vendors Assess vendor performance against contractual obligations, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and drive accountability and improvement Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities across the vendor portfolio Support funding processes, including purchase order creation, tracking, reporting, and governance reviews Evaluate and manage vendor risk, including proactive risk mitigation and collaboration with enterprise risk teams Maintain a comprehensive understanding of vendor risk profiles and resolve risk-related issues Develop and maintain strong partnerships with procurement, risk, finance, and business stakeholders Ensure compliance with contractual terms and vendor management policies Participate in procurement activities such as market research, RFPs, RFXs, and vendor negotiations Coordinate and lead vendor business review meetings Analyze complex issues and provide recommendations for resolution Develop and deliver dashboards and scorecards to track vendor performance and key metrics Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience 7-10 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, risk management, or related roles Strong experience managing complex vendor relationships and engagements Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a timely manner Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with vendor management and procurement processes Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise technology environments Familiarity with risk management frameworks and compliance standards Experience building and improving vendor management processes and governance models
