Position Overview As a Flow Inventory Associate, you'll play a critical role in maintaining CarMax's best-in-class vehicle inventory and customer experience. You'll handle vehicle receiving and shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads, ensuring every car meets CarMax's quality standards. Whether you're advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward. Role Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes. Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers. Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized. Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming. Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings. Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support. Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards. High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records. Completion of Inventory Associate Workstation certifications and assigned trainings. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
