Job Description
Full job description Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team in a full-time, Monday through Friday position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently. Experience with freight documentation and warehouse operations is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation Coordinate with carriers, freight companies, and internal departments regarding deliveries and shipments Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (if certified) Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and shipping regulations Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization Handle hazardous materials documentation and shipping paperwork Report damaged or missing items promptly All other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred but not required Familiarity with freight carriers, bills of lading, and shipping software Basic computer and data entry skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to [50 lbs.] and stand for extended periods Standing for long periods of time Knowledge of dangerous goods documentation is an asset Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable and punctual Problem-solving and time-management abilities Benefits Competitive pay Employer provided training Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunities for growth and advancement
