Today Job Description The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will assist with administrative tasks and functions, as directed by management, as well as scheduling measures, consults & installs. This position also requires heavy-lifting & use of operating equipment. Job Requirements
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: 1. Receive incoming shipments o Open/unpack small packages; determine where they go / if special order; communicate non-inventory samples w/ showroom designer o Unload palleted goods / roll goods by use of forklift, loading dock, and/or overhead door o Document received items, store in proper location, and adjust status in software o Communicate incoming orders w/ internal staff 2.
Stage / Prepare
orders for delivery or pick up o Print pick lists, locate inventory, and stage in Zones o Notate materials which have not arrived or been picked up o Arrange local pick-up or follow-up on missing line items 3. Deliver materials to jobsite, and/or perform local pick-ups o Coordinate deliveries w/ end-user, showroom designer, installer and warehouse personnel o Assist w/ jobsite deliveries, when needed o Pick up local orders (Walcro, Tri-State, Hanks, Syversons), as needed, or schedule w/ warehouse personnel 4. Monitor special orders & receive into software o Run daily reports on merchandise received o Track paper packing slips & communicate inventory placement with warehouse o Alert Showroom Designers of special order or sample arrival 5. Schedule installations o Communicate with Showroom Designer to schedule prior discussed install dates. o Communicate with clients to schedule installations with proper crews. o Communicate with installers regarding installation schedule, work orders, layouts, questions. o Ensure all materials are in prior to printing pick list. o Review completed jobs and flag installers for payment. o Utilize software to communicate effectively between installer, warehouse, designer, end-user.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Ability to use computer efficiently for daily use
  • Proficient w/ Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with industry-specific software
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated & driven to fill down time
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High-school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of five year's warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift certification and/or CDL preferred, but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs
  • Must be able to access main & lower level, by use of stairs
  • This is a full-time position, which may occasionally require overtime
