Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Materials Clerk positions in Knoxville, TN. Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify shipment contents and resolve discrepancies. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition. Unload, unpack, and accurately document received goods. Coordinate warehousing of received items. Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve logistics issues. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with the logistics team to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate transactions related to outsourced processes. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of items sent to external vendors for additional processing.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use (or learn to use) a forklift. Proven experience as a logistics clerk or in a similar role. Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Oracle) and MS Office (especially Excel). This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch. Pay Details:
