Purpose of the position:

Process, package and prepare product to ship.

Key Tasks:

Coordinate with Customer Service and carriers to ensure shipments leave on time to meet the customers' needs and stay within service level. Build relationships with carriers to ensure timely pickups and loading/wait times as well as trouble shoot any Over, Short and Damaged (OS&D) claims or return issues. Prepare proper documentation for international shipments (i.e. commercial invoices, shipper's letter of intent, and other declarations) and create bookings in a timely manner. Keep track and report inventory levels as well as ordering supplies as needed. Provide tracking and other information to customer service. Prepare shipment of chairs with quality packaging and loading.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm (Overtime as needed)

Your Background You have a High School Diploma education level or equivalent education. Ability to multitask and communicate effectively. Common working knowledge of Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of common warehouse procedures preferred. 6 months or more of Shipping and/or Receiving experience preferred. Powered industrial truck experience preferred.
