Traffic Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The position involves assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations within the shipping department. Check dock doors Assist supervisor, IO scheduler, and inventory controller with tasks Enter Good Receipts in SAP Check Emails Interact with Truck Drivers Run Reports Prepare staging lanes to ship Close out orders Check Dock Doors / Door Swaps Skills Required SAP experience strongly preferred Very strong computer literacy Well organized Able to multitask and balance priorities Function independently when necessary Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively Very strong communication skills Experience Required 1-2 years of transportation experience strongly preferred. In the absence of transportation experience, candidates with a demonstrated work ethic and necessary experience to ensure computer skills, organizational skills, and communication skills will be considered.
