Competencies, Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of intermodal transportation concepts, operations and networks
• Ability to manage carrier and customer relationships
• Ability to manage multiple activities and initiatives. Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining organizational effectiveness.
• Requires ability to use PC with general knowledge of computer applications within the trucking industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external point of contact regardless of the contacts status or position
• Demonstrate interpersonal/management skills in fast paced environment dealing with diverse work groups, carriers and customers.
• Requires effective planning and organizational skills
• Requires flexibility and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with tight deadlines and sensitive service issue
