Operating from its headquarters in Rockford, Tennessee, RAM mobilizes a corps of licensed volunteer clinicians and general support volunteers to deliver pop-up clinics across the country — no ID, no insurance, and no questions about income or immigration status required. Every patient is seen free of charge. Our staff is small, mission-driven, and deeply hands-on, and we're looking for people who want their work to translate directly into care delivered to someone who otherwise would go without. The Supply Chain Assistant reports to the Supply Chain Coordinator and is a part of the Supply Chain and Operations Team.
Job Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining healthy strategic relationships with supervisor, personnel, volunteers,and partners that would benefit department and organizational objectives Maintaining familiarity with clinic event concepts, practices, and procedures Pack and unpack totes using an inventory tracking system for dental, medical, and vision supplies and minor equipment that is being transported to a clinic. Ensuring inventory that is sent to a clinic is currently dated and in proper working condition, troubleshooting problems as necessary. Ensure inventory levels are adequate and mobile units are fully stocked and prepared for next clinic/event Receiving deliveries at the delivery entrance, directing shipment placement for best access of the staff, overseeing delivery area in warehouse, and storing and contacting staff on deliveries. Works as a cohesive member of the Supply Chain team, assisting with projects as needed. Follow purchasing policy guidelines by acquiring correct approvals based on price Work closely with volunteers to accomplish tasks. Ensure Supply Chain work areas are neat and organized. Performing a variety of task as directed by your Management Team Job Requirements Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework or equivalent experience preferred. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive RAM vehicles. Must be proficient in verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills Must be able to work in both an office and warehouse environmentPay:
