Job Description

Job Description An energy company in the electric and natural gas utility space is looking to hire a Sr. / Principal Supply Chain Capital Project Specialist. This individual will lead sourcing, procurement, and contract management efforts for large-scale capital projects, including EPC, engineered equipment, and construction services contracts. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, leading bid events and proposal evaluations, negotiating complex contracts and change orders, managing supplier performance and post-award contract execution, driving risk mitigation strategies, supporting project planning activities, and providing coaching and guidance to other sourcing professionals. The role partners closely with stakeholders, category managers, and suppliers to ensure project savings, compliance, and successful project delivery. This role will be based out of the team's Amarillo, TX office, and may require up to 25% travel to local project sites to partner with construction and engineering teams on project goals, changes, and vendor coordination. This position will be a full-time, direct hire, and salary range is between $112,000 and $159,000. Compensation details will be based on previous experience level for each candidate.
