Between $48k and

Position range in Jefferson County $42k•$83k Per Year E049 Transportation Specialist I, II, or III•District Maintenance
Coordinates and performs interim and final inspections to identify deficiencies.
Coordinates beautification projects.
Coordinates communication between district/division/DPS and other external entities.
Coordinates permit operations.
Coordinates programs and projects to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
Implements the vegetation/Herbicide programTrains and makes training-related recommendations to staff on new operations.
Transportation Specialist II(to include level I):
Assists with administering and monitoring district maintenance contracts and service agreementsAssists with project assignments and determining work requirements to complete project plans and coordinates scheduling to accomidate projects already underway.
Coordinates and performs interim and final inspections to identify deficiencies.
Coordinates beautification projects.
Coordinates communication between district/division/DPS and other external entities.
Coordinates permit operations.
Coordinates programs and projects to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
Implements the vegetation/Herbicide programTravels to district and maintenance offices to perform site visits and monitor maintenance programs.
Transportation Specialist III(to include level I/II):
Coordinates maintenance material purchasing.
