Warehouse Logistics Assistant Brownsville Gulfside Warehouse Inc - 4.5 Brownsville, TX Job Details Full-time $13 - $14 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Computer literacy English High school diploma or GED Transportation management Warehouse experience Full Job Description Job Summary We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Assistant to support daily logistics, warehouse, and cargo operations. This position plays a key role in coordinating truck movements, inventory documentation, cargo releases, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment, and able to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and logistics teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and distribution processes while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Assist with daily warehouse and logistics operations for inbound and outbound cargo. Coordinate truck scheduling, cargo releases, and shipping documentation. Support inventory tracking, packing lists, clerking reports, and cargo records. Verify truck, trailer, and driver information prior to loading and unloading activities. Assist with railcar, truck, and warehouse cargo coordination. Communicate with customers, brokers, truck drivers, and operations personnel regarding cargo status and scheduling. Maintain accurate operational records and support inventory reconciliations. Assist with FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) documentation and cargo release procedures. Perform physical inventories. Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards. Assist supervisors and logistics coordinators with administrative and operational tasks as needed. Maintain organized storage areas through stocking, inventory management, and regular stock checks. Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, shipping, or industrial operations preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and data entry. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work outdoors and around heavy equipment operations when required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill
Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
